User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050223 Firefox/1.0.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050223 Firefox/1.0.1 I'm posting this as a new issue because I cannot tell if it is the same as one of the other CPU usage issues. The situation seems slightly different than the descriptions I've read, but of course it's hard to be certain what is static and what key circumstance. Basically I find, now and then, that Thunderbird is sucking up most of my CPU cycles. I'm not sure if this gradual and progressive or if some event brings it on suddenly. But I find my PC acting sluggish, check Task Manager and find Thunderbird hovering around 98%; by then I don't know if it was from the last thing I did in Thunderbird (or remember what that might be). Thunderbird is not "hung" in this state, it still functions. I don't know if this is relevant but I have several POP accounts configured, only use 2 of them. The first one is on autocheck, the second is not. Both have several thousand messages in their inbox (an estimate, I'm not sure how to get a count). I routinely have Thunderbird running for days at a time. I think the last time it occurred it had been up for a day and a half or so, but the time it takes is not consistant or predictable. If there is a way to attach it, I could sumbit a screen shot of TaskInfo showing the list threads in the Thunderbird process and which is the naughty one. Reproducible: Sometimes

This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01". This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code. While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug (given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more reproduction information if you have it. If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved. Thank you for your help in this matter.
