It seems that JavaScript method window.close() does nothing if the page is
opened within a tab. Instead, it properly works if the page is opened within a
window.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Visit this URL: http://www.quadronno.it/_autotrapianto2.php
2. MIDDLE-click on "Ingrandisci" (under the photos)
3. click on CHIUDI (close): it a link to "javascript:window.close();"
Actual Results:
Absolutely nothing.

Expected Results:
My personal opinion is that the tab should close. Another option could be to
close the whole window, maybe with an alert message.
Opera closes the tab.
