I would like to uninstall IE altogether, but I am forced into keeping IE and
Mozilla because Windows Update defaults to using IE.  What I would like to see
is the ability of Windows Update to use Mozilla to get the Windows Updates in
lieu of IE.  Can this be done on a future version of Mozilla?  If not, why not?
 This causes a security problem in itself, since I do not wish to use IE because
of the security issues plaguing IE.  This is causing me to use 2 different
Browsers, not just the one I want, Mozilla.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Left click on Start
2. Move Mouse to All Programs
3. Then left click Windows Update
4. Internet Explorer starts and the Windows Update web page appears.

Actual Results:  
Interent Explorer starts up instead of Mozilla.

Expected Results:  
Mozilla should have started and Windows Update Web Page should have loaded from
Mozilla Browser.

This is because Microsoft wants to force you to use IE. There is nothing we can
do to support Windows Update. I recommend that you consider moving to an
operating system which is not controlled by a monopoly which wishes to take all
choice away from you.

I have also found many people computers unable to install Mozilla, it says when you try to install, "Not a Valid Win32 Application".  Now what has Bill Gates done so you can not even install Mozilla to my friends computers???  I will not be available for comments for the next 2 1/2 years, unfortunately, I have to move out of the area.  Sorry, and I will look forward to a possible solution to all of these problems when I return.  Thanks everyone.

For an alternative to Windows Update that you can use with Mozilla, try http://www.windizupdate.com/
