Moving from Mozilla to Thunderbird and have a number of "look and feel" feature
requests.

In the folders window I miss being able to set the fields - specifically the
total number of messages. I want to see the total message count in the folders.

I'd like to add a search messages button in the toolbar.

I'd like to eliminate the panel that has the "View" pulldown and the search
entirely - but have the ability to add those compunents to the top 2 toolbars.

In the panel that lists the messages - if I am on the last message in the list
and a new message comes in at the bottom - I'd like the window to scroll up
automatically showing the new message at the bottom so I can see who it's from
without having to scroll down manually.

This option is available from Options/Preferences > Advanced.
