There should be a global setting for each subscribed to calendar turning alarms on or off. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Subscribe to remote calendar 2.Look for an event on remote calendar with an alarm set 3.Wait for alarm to trigger Actual Results: Alarm on remote calendar triggered, as expected. Expected Results: I would expect the alarm to trigger, given the current lack of a global option to turn off alarms on remote calendars.

Reporter, This looks like the RFE described in bug 257428. That bug is a bit more general, but seems to cover your issue. Please look over it, and if you agree, mark this as a duplicate.
