3.Setbrowser.xul.error_pages.enabled false
4.Close FF
5.Open FF
6.Open about:config
7.browser.xul.error_pages.enabled is true again
don't know when this regressed

Summary: browser.xul.error_pages.enabled is allways reset to true → browser.xul.error_pages.enabled is always reset to true

Are you sure you don't have a user.js, read-only prefs.js or an extension that
is changing the value?
