User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050317 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050317 In both browser and mail, the file menu is there, however it doesn't have the text "File" on the toolbar. I also noticed that there is a menu next to "Window" completely missing in the browser. I am not sure if there were any menus in mail that were listed to the right of "Window," but I do not see any. I would asume there would atleast be a QA(aka Help) menu. Note: I am using the latest nighly build of the Mozilla Application Suite. (March 17, 2005) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open the newest nightly Mozilla Application Suite (3/17/05) 2. Look at the menu bar in both browser and mail 3. See if you notice things missing Actual Results: I noticed entrie text missing and some missing menus as noted above. Expected Results: I would expect to see a correctly identified "File" menu in both browser and mail. I would also expect to see the QA menu in mail.

wfm Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050317 Win98SE, BuildId 2005031706, zip-build unzipped into a fresh directory. Did you have extensions installed? Did you deinstall Mozilla before installing? What version of Mozilla did you use before?

I had similar problems with parts of the chrome not displaying properly in recent nightly builds. What seemed to fix it was uninstalling Mozilla, then deleting the chrome directory in the Mozilla directory under Program Files. After doing that, the new installs have not had this problem. Try this and see if it fixes your problem -- and let us know whether it does or doesn't.
