Hmm, what url would you be expecting to see from a mail, or what form of details? I would not imagine a url being associated with an e-mail.
either invalid, or enhancement?
No longer blocks: 208902
It used to print out something about the message details, ie "imap://server.xyz.co.nz/blah messageid=xyz"

should this be in mailnews: printing?
I've noticed that the "imap://" or "mailbox://" heading shows up in the preview before printing, but then disappears on the actually printed copy. I've tested this with both output to a physical printer as well as into Adobe Distiller, no difference. Observed with both SeaMonkey and Thunderbird, branch (SM 1.1.9, TB 2.0.0.12) and trunk (TB 3.0a1pre, 2008050103) versions, Windows and Linux. With SeaMonkey, printing from a web page shows the URL correctly, thus this affects MailNews only (adjusting component per comment #4). This issue aside, I think that the suggestion in bug 118766 comment #1 to replace the (rather meaningless) imap/mailbox URL with a more human-readable reference to account and folder on each printed page would make sense.

(In reply to comment #5) > I've noticed that the "imap://" or "mailbox://" heading shows up in the preview > before printing, but then disappears on the actually printed copy. It does not always disappear when printed, see bug 118766 comment #12 for steps to reproduce printing with the URL included in the actual printout.
