Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050225 Firefox/1.0.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050225 Firefox/1.0.1

After I upgraded from firefox 1.0 to my current build, the extensions were
disabled. However, when I went into the extensions manager all extensions
(Tabbrowser preferences 1.1.1, EditCSS 0.2.3, Web Developer 0.9.3, User agent
switcher 0.6.3, fireFTP 0.87, miniT 0.4, cuneAform 0.3.1 and SessionSaver
0.2.1.025. I also had stumbleupon 1.9992, but that was showing as disabled
because it is not compatablie with my current build) were showing as ENABLED
(ie. they were not grey highlighted), and when right-clicked on gave the option
to DISABLE and not enable. I solved the problem by 'disabling' them all and then
re-enabling them. This seems to ahve worked for all but tabbrowser preferences
1.1.1.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Upgrade from 1.0 using the red arrow in the top right-hand corner of firefox.
2.Custom install, choosing all options.
3.Enter firefox and all the extensions are no longer functioning
4. Steps as described in details section

Actual Results:
Extensions showing as enabled but are actually disabled.

Expected Results:
The extensions should be disabled (as it says in a message box), and showing as
disabled.
Actually they were not supposed to be disabled. Was the upgrade the only change
you made when they stopped working?
Severity: minor → normal
Version: unspecified → Trunk
Just happened when trying out my first upgrade from 1.0.2 to 1.0.3. A Disable
All and Enable All option would have been really handy here...but anyway, yes,
the extensions should have been listed as Disabled.
The same is happening to me when selected from menu extension nothing happens,
this after the upgrade
Huw, is this still a problem with Firefox 1.5?
