I have been using Thunderbird now for 8 months i have been telling all my 
customers about it, today i started the client and it started from scratch 
i.e. no accounts at all all mail and settings lost. this has resulted in al 
mail since the install being lost.

start Thunderbird and see my mail?
a new profile probably got set up, because a previous instance of thunderbird
didn't shut down cleanly.  All your data is most likely still present. You can

I had this problem yesterday my e-mail account was gone after restarting,
leaving no traces snowball@bluez.nl
