User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050223 Firefox/1.0.1 Build Identifier: thunderbird 1.0 How come there are many times when a HYPERLINK is not associated with an HTTP address in Thunderbird? I have received an email, it had Hyperlinks to web sites, and it worked fine when I clicked on them. I then forward this to my wifes account m from Lotus Notes (UGH!), and when she received the file, the hyperlink was missing. She had something like HTTP://WWWW.SOMEPLACE.COM, but could not click on it. I'm sure it's because of Notes that the link is gone, but Thunderbird should recognize HTTP://WWW.SOMEPLACE.COM as a web site, and automatically make it a hyperlink. Outlook does. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.receive an email w/ www.xxx.yyy in it, and no hyperlink. 2. 3.
this bug is INVALID it is not about Thunderbird. Thunderbird recognizes hyperlinks and gives the user the opportunity to open it with your browser. However, it does not actually change the plain/text email into an html email with a link. If you need this functionality in Lotus Notes ask the Lotus Notes developers.
I marked it INVALID, since it is a feature request for Lotus Notes
