286941 - Password not accepted; cannot create new password

I click on the "Get Mail" icon and the box comes up requesting "Enter your
password for lsalzman on pop-server-mn.rr.com." When I do that I get the message
that "authentication failed." Next a box comes up requesting a new password,
which is not accepted and I can go no further. I'm stuck.
