Reporter: Your comment #2 foesn't anser the question in comment #1.You should install in a complete empty directory (uninstall the older FF installation and remove the remaining directory manually). Do you see an ActiveX plugin in your about:plugins ? Did you tried in the safemode (without extensions) ? An entry point error ALWAYS means that you have an out-of-date dll in either your application directory (that includes the plugin subdirectory) or in your profile folder as extension.
