Hello,

Suggestion for an UI change :
- at the bottom of the download manager, you have now :
   "All files downloaded to Button<$DownloadFolder>"

- I would like the button changed to a menu containing :
   "All files downloaded to Menubutton<$DownloadFolder>"
When you click on the menubutton, you see :
* Show folder $DownloadFolder
* --- Always download in ---
* lastdir1
* lastdir2
* lastdir3
* Other folder...
* Always ask

Where :
- Show folder does what the button does now
- folder1, folder2, folder3 is a list sorted by time
of the last folders I used as download directory
- Other folder opens a "Choose directory" dialog
- Always ask, is for the kind of people who needs to use Portable Firefox
http://johnhaller.com/jh/mozilla/portable_firefox/
See the "Download Prompt - Firefox will ask where to save downloads. " item

Rationale : the download manager is a real enhancement when you compare it to
transferts dialogs ala internet explorer, but it was apparently
designed by and for people who always download the files to their
desktop, but becomes a bit frustating for people who switch not-so-rarely
the download directory.

For example, I use most of time "~/tmp" as download browser.
But more or less each week, I go to http://radioarkivo.org/
and want to download a bunch of MP3 files and download them
in ~/Radio_In_Esperanto

- Right click -> download to... is unsuitable since I have lot of files
- The download manager does not provide a quick and easy enough
way to switch the directory, and to set it back to "~/tmp" after that.

(Disclaimer : yes, I know it's possile through Tools->Options, it's
not a feature request but an UI enhancement proposal)

That's it. Congratulations if you were able to read my poor english.

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a
copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and
you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.

If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
