287100 - Inbuilt search toolbat disappears and cant change searches

The search toolbar at the top right hand side of firefox doesnt display its
search engine picture anymore. I had a clean install of firefox and then it
worked for 2 days and then the search engine picture disappeared when I switched
it back to google.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go into firefox
2. Left click on the place the search engine picture used to be
3. Nothing happens, you cant change search engine

Actual Results:  
The search engine picture does not display and you cannot left click on the area
to change search engine.

Expected Results:  
Changed search engine when left clicked and also showed the search engine picture

Please upgrade to a newer version of Firefox. Version 1.0.1 is no longer supported for bug fixing.

I still have this problem with FireFox 1.0.7

I fixed my issue with FireFox 1.0.7

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-GB; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050919
Firefox/1.0.7

it turned out there was a src file without corresponding a png/gif/jpg etc in the searchplugins folder
