instead of https://addons.update.mozilla.org/themes/?os=Windows&application=mozilla

Other product pages such as Firefox lead to the Mozilla Update site, and so does
Firefox's built-in 'Get extensions' link.

The design of the mozilla gives the impression that it's the repository for all
updates, for all three applications.

There seem to be a lot of sites around Mozilla, some of which are linked to from
within the apps, and it's very confusing to try to work out which one does what
and whether it's 'official' or not.

Mozilla Update supports Mozilla 1.x. As the link he gave specifies..

(Actually, maybe no strict duplicate, but mozilla1.x is outdated anyways and the link isn't really wrong, as the same page is linked from inside the application. We will fix this all when future AMO and SeaMonkey versions arrive.)
