User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050225 Firefox/1.0.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050225 Firefox/1.0.1

I have an Apple G-4 Powerbook with 667 MHZ and 512 MB of memory. I'm using OS
10.3.7. When I copy anything from a web page using Firefox and paste it into a
blank e-mail on Mac Mail in rich text (HTML), it appears as plain text (my
default setting Courier 12). No pictures appear. This happens on every web
site. Yet I don't have this problem when I use any other browser. I've tried
Safari, Internet Explorer and Netscape and HTML is reproduced as is. My Mac
mail preferences are set to HTML, so that's not the problem. I called Apple
Care Tech Support and the person I spoke to tried to copy and paste something
from Firefox into his Mac mail e-mail and had the same thing happen. He
suggested looking for something on the Mozilla support page. I did but found
nothing. I haven't been able to find anything in Foxfire preferences that will
control this, so there could be some bug that is causing the problem.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:

Actual Results:
The result is plain text instead of rich text. On other browsers, the pasted
info appeared in the e-mail exactly as it was on the web site in rich text.

Expected Results:
It should have pasted the text in HTML but it will only appear in plain text.
Incidentally, the same thing happens in MS Word. It doesn't paste onto the page
as it appears on the web site. I also tried other browsers on MS Word (again on
my Apple Powerbook G4) and didn't have this problem. It pasted the text as is
in HTML format.
