Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create a recurring event (i.e. every week) 2. Move one instance of this event one day earlier Actual Results: all former instances are deleted without question Expected Results: former instances remain as they are or at least the user should be asked if he wants to delete all former instances. Sunbird build: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8a5) Gecko/20050203 Mozilla Sunbird/0.2 this bug should become a child of bug #194556.

I can confirm this in Sunbird 0.2 for Linux. Drag and Drop isn't implemented yet on trunk, so I can't test there. Changing status to new and adding the dependency suggested. Reducing severity to major. Also changing to component: Front End and OS/Hardware: All. Added 'drag and drop' to summary.
Severity: critical → major
Status: UNCONFIRMED → NEW
Component: General → Sunbird and Calendar-Extension Front End
Depends on: 194556
Ever confirmed: true
OS: Windows XP → All
Hardware: PC → All
Summary: Moving one instance of a recurring event deletes all former instances → Moving one instance of a recurring event by drag and drop deletes all former instances
