User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; fr-FR; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050319 Firefox/1.0+ (PowerBook) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; fr-FR; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050319 Firefox/1.0+ (PowerBook) while trying to access to an url with non ascii-characters in parameters values, theses characters are encoded to UTF-8 : http://aboudou.nerim.net/test/?test=é with firefox 1.O.1 : the url becomes http://aboudou.nerim.net/test/?test=%E9 with firefox 1.0+ : the url becomes http://aboudou.nerim.net/test/?test=%C3%A9 the UTF-8 encoding with firefox 1.0+ should not happens as it may break many php scripts. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.goto http://aboudou.nerim.net/test/?test=é 2. 3. Actual Results: é becomes %C3%A9 Expected Results: é should become %E9

This also happens if you try to access www.Ingénue.com (random url). The error message is: "www.xn--ingnue-dva.com could not be found. Please check the name and try again." This seems nothing like the original URL.
