I'm running Mozilla 1.8b
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b) Gecko/20050217
I have the plain text email composer selected by default (which may or may
not matter).
When I click the "Compose" button to compose a new message, and then type
the name of a correspondent, the mailnews composer finds that name in my
local address book, and/or mydirectory server, and shows it to me.
I only have to press enter to choose the email address shown.
That's good and expected.
Likewise, if I read an email and click "Forward" to forward it, and then
type the name of a correspondent, the mail news composer finds that name
in my address book, etc. Also good and expected.
But if I read an email and click Reply, then click in the address area
to add a new address, and type the name of a correspondent, it does not
lookup that name in the address book nor attempt a LDAP lookup on it.
It just leaves me with a typed name that is not an email address.
That's bad and unexpected.
I think this is a regression in the 1.8 series. I believe this worked
properly in 1.7x
Desired result: typing name in address box in reply looks up name, and
lets me choose the email address.
Actual result: typing name does not lookup, leaves typed name in address area.
