I think we should have a way to turn off/on that "active-title-switch" (using a
window attribute).

Per HIG, The mac bits in preferences.xml sets the window title to be the current
prefpane title (i.e. Geneal, Content etc) rather than the prefwindow title. This
works as expected in the main prefs window...
see also commen #! for a long-term solution...
