Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050223 Firefox/1.0.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050223 Firefox/1.0.1

When long URL in location bar is entirely selected (with one left click), it
does not deselect the subfolder I want to remove with one left click and a drag
across the subfolder at the back end of a selected long URL. (IE is able to do
this.)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Enter a long URL string with subfolders in location bar
2. Left click once on URL string to select entire string.
3. Left click once on a subfolder at the end of the URL string and drag to the
right (as if to highlight and remove the subfolder).
4. Notice that the entire string is still highlighted (selected) such that the
subfolder cannot be immediately selected and removed.
5. Attempt the same in IE, and you will notice that you are able to immediately
place the cursor in the proper place (to the left of) the subfolder you want to
remove. Only the subfolder remains selected, so you can quickly delete it.

Actual Results:
It's always the same result.

Expected Results:
Remove the entire selected URL string (as in IE), allowing one to just select
and remove the subfolder at the back end of the long URL.
