you cant change port of proxy if needed to.

Yes, the box for the port is off the right hand edge of the dialogue
box.

Assuming that the defect is still in, are you able to hazard a guess as
to why the box is not resizable?

Here is a screenshot of the problem on Mac OS X.  It is not as cut off on the
right as it is in the first screenshot, but it is still very noticable.

Also, I don't see the problem on Windows XP as the original reporter does, only
on Mac OS X...
