nothing happens. Reinstalled just to make sure nothing was missing/left out, no
luck.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
using the key combos, alt+left or alt+right

Actual Results:
nothing

Expected Results:
go back a page or forward a page

I listed it as a major issue. For many it may not be but I do use it daily and
live off of it.
wfm in Mozilla (CVS trunk) and also my FF1.0.1.
Reporter: Does it work if you run Firefox in teh safemode ?
Fixed the problem as follows: (found via another site)

When I installed v1.0.2 I was in a theme other than the default. I switched
back to the default, it still did not work. I switched back to my original
theme and it now works on all themes I have installed.

WFM in most recent milestone, with a non-default theme.

I am not sure what the problem is, but it isn't a Firefox bug, AFAIK. Who is
the author of the theme you are having problems with? If you check their site
for release notes on that theme version, it may be a known and reported problem
that the theme breaks this behavior, and you may very well need to wait until
the next version of the theme is released for a fix to happen.
this is wfm with a current nightly build with the default theme.
Please only reopen if you see this with the default theme and without extensions
