Unable to Uninstall/Remove program via w2ks/cp/add-remove utility.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.under w2ks - Control Panel, Add remove Program

System tells me everything is ok.

2. restart system to install Thunderbird clean, finds the old config files and
gives me the same problem. RSS Feed will not validate ??

Might be me, however, I need a clean install to confirm. How do I do it ?

I have RTFM.

Cheers

Gerard

3.
there is a difference between uninstalling the program files and removing your
profile. read
http://kb.mozillazine.org/Thunderbird_:_FAQs#Profiles:_File_Locations.2C_Migration.2C_and_Backup.2FRestore
for more info.
i think this bug should be marked INVALID
You need to remove your profile, or make a new one (thunderbird.exe -p, I
think). The profile normally lives at:

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\thunderbird

Under Windows 2000/XP. Delete/move this, and all should be gone. If that
works, please let us know/mark as invalid.
