Hello !

Here the wat to the BUG

First: Go to the Bookmark Toolbar and open the hidden Bookmarks.
I have in my Bookmark Toolbar about 40 Bookmarks stored.

Second: Scroll to the last Bookmark in the openend Window so that you can see
the latest added bookmark.
In my case this are RSS FEEDS where I after every starting of FireFox do controll.

Third: Bring the mouse pointer at the Top of the Bookmark Window now so that you
can scroll automaticly two or three Boomarks in the Window back.
After the autmatical scrolling move the ponter a litlle down to stop the
automatical scrolling.

Fourth: Now happen the Bug !
After the aoutmatical scrolling of two or tree Bookmarks in the Window move the
mouse pointer to the Search Toolbar thats lockated above the Bookmark window.

The Bug Is:
The Bookmarks that are stored in the Bookmark Toolbar and Showed in the Bookmark
Window will be Scrolled to the top of the Window without to stop the Scrolling.

After Leaving the Bookmark Window the Actions are not stoped.

Thats not very practical.
For example if someone like I have some RSS Feeds stored at the end of the
BookMark Toolbar that contain about 40-80 Bookmarks and go to the end of the
bookmark list to see the content of the RSS Feeds and after that try to type
something in the Google Search bar the Programm will always scroll the Bookmarks
to the top.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Scroll automatical to the end of the Bookmark Toolbar Window
2. Scroll automatical three or four bookmars back in the Bookmark Toolbar Window
3. After Stoping the Automatical Scrolling of the Bookmarks back ( move the
mouse pointer a little back from the first bookmark in the window)
Move the Mouse Pointer to the Google search Toolbar.

Actual Results:  
The Bookmark Toolbar window scroll to the top after leaving the focus of the
Bookmark window.

It seems me that the the Bookmark Window mean that the mouse Pointer dont have
changed the window and show Allways to the Bookmark Window.


Expected Results:  
After Leaving the field of the Bookmark Toolbar Window the automatical scrolling
of the Bookmarks must stop !

Hello !

I have found that this Bug you can also produce in the Bookmark Menu Bar.

Steps to reporduce this Bug are.

1. Open the Bookmark Menu that should contain about 100-200 Bookmarks
2. Scroll automaticly to the Last Bookmark
3. Go with the mouse pointer to the first Visible Bookmark thats showed in the
Window so that the Bookmark is Painted now with the Blue background Color 
4. Move the Mouse Pointer now over the Bookmark window to the Menu Bar
( Nothing happen )
5. Move the Mouse Pointer down again to the first visible Bookmark so that the
Background Color change in Blue.
(Nothing Happen )
6. Move the pointer once again over the Bookmark Window to the Menu Bar.
Now beginn the Bookmark window to scroll autmaticly to the Top.
P.S. to repuduce this Bug you have at leasst two time opened the Bookmark Menu.

If you open a new Window the steps 1-6 will not produce the Bug once you have
not make repeated the steps 5 and 6 two or three time.

I think that the Bug in reality has something to do with the size of the
Bookmarks windows.

The Size of the Bookmark window is too small.
You can see this when you scroll to the last Bookmark that is normaly allways
painted complete.

The problem happen when you move now the pointer to the first visible Bookmark
in the window.

After Marking the fist Bookmark thats visible in the Window the Programm will
now scroll the Content of the Bookmark window a little back so that now the
first visible Bookmark is painted complete and the last visible Bookmark is
painted only half !

P.S. I have also find two another Bugs that at the end make all the same thing
but you can produce thus bug a little different.

sorry for bugspam, long-overdue mass reassign of ancient QA contact bugs, filter on "beltznerLovesGoats" to get rid of this mass change
