The error message says: "Debug: TypeError: repository has no properties" I did a bug search and couldn't find a fix for it. Can you help me please? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Double click on the Mozilla Firefox icon. 2. Error menu pops up. 3. Click Ok and Mozilla Firefox browser starts Actual Results: Mozilla Firefox browser starts after I click on OK. Expected Results: The software should have just opened the Mozilla Firefox browser straight after I double click on the icon, instead of popping up an error before it loads.

Please start the browser in safe mode (this can be done from the programs group created in the start/programs menu), do u still get this error?
(In reply to comment #1) > Please start the browser in safe mode (this can be done from the programs group > created in the start/programs menu), do u still get this error? I am having the same issue he is having. When starting in safe mode, the error message does not appear.

That means that you have a broken extension installed (safemode= normal Firefox without extensions) and this bug would be invalid but waiting for a response from the original reporter.
(In reply to comment #3) > That means that you have a broken extension installed (safemode= normal Firefox > without extensions) and this bug would be invalid but waiting for a response > from the original reporter. > Matthias, You're right! I opened the browser in safe mode and as much as it fixed the problem (temporarily) it didn't fix the source of it. It doesn't have the extensions that I needed for the browser. I also noticed, that if there was ever a pop up that comes up - the error message comes up before the (advertising) pop up opens. I don't know what broken extension is it that i'm missing...??? Can anyone help please? Cheers, Armand

Disabling them one by one (you can enable them again later) would also help to dtermine which one was the trouble-maker. Uninstalling and reinstalling Mozilla would also help. Don't forget the uninstall !

-> invalid (broken extension) uninstalling/disabling the extensions should fix that, see comment #5 (but not uninstalling/reinstalling Firefox) You are at the wrong place for support questions (bugzilla is a place for the developers to track their work). You can ask in the mozillazine.org Forums for Enduser help.
