any time since updateing to the last 2 upgrades of firefox and thunderbird that
i try to follow a web link inside a e-mail with out haveing an open browser
window i recieve the following message: this program must close to all a
previous program to complete the installation.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.open my e-mail client and without having a firefox browser window open.
2.choose a weblink from inside a received e-mail.
3.click to follow the link and receive the error message.

Actual Results:  
the error message resulted.

Expected Results:  
it should have opened a browser window with the apropiate link.
