Error appears saying that The Browser must restart in order for installation 
effects to work even after closing browser in the task menu and proccesses.  
Uninstalled Firefox then reinstalled Firefox 1.0.2 but during Installation, 
Error recieved saying "-Firefox Browser: -231 IS_FILE"

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Firefox 1.0.1
2. Update to Firefox 1.0.2
3. 

Actual Results:  
Error Recieved saying that the Firefox browser must be closed for updates to 
take effect [even after closing firefox browser physically and from the 
proccesses in task menu].

Expected Results:  
Installed Firefox 1.0.2 after closing browser.

I attempted to do the test you said on winXP SP2 and i couldn't get the error,
just in case i did the test on win98se, but couldn't get it neither. May be u
must specify the OS version you r using, do u have sp2?

I am using Windows XP Pro SP2

I uninstalled Firefox completely, then reinstalled the 1.0PR.  After
reinstalling that, I installed the update patch and everything now is fine.  I
think it might have been a file corruption causing that :S
