This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01". This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code. While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug (given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more reproduction information if you have it. If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved. Thank you for your help in this matter. the request makes sense to me, though I would say that if there is a contact with out an email address we shouldn't even list it since it can't be used. However someone will have to put up the work to make this happen since TB3 is around the corner and this won't get priority to be done.

I'm guessing this is for the contacts pane that you can open with F9, in which case it's not fixed.

The used to be included in autocomplete, but not anymore after bug 1045753. I don't think they should be listed but disabled. So we should decide if we simply exclude them, or pop up a dialog. No e-mail found for contact. [ok] [edit contact]
(In reply to Wayne Mery (:wsmwk) from comment #6) > WFM? > shows as red for me - which I assume is the new grey There is also bug 1042561 on showing red where it isn't supposed to be shown, but I agree that this seems to be a different issue related to opening the contacts sidebar and trying to add recipients from there rather than by autocomplete. (In reply to [:Aureliano Buendía] from comment #3) > Should be wontfix, because now cannot add contacts that haven't email address... Verifying with TB 36.0a1 on Linux, I can add a contact without an e-mail address, it shows up in the contacts sidebar, and I can select it where just the display name shows up (no <> part).
