Two tabs: http://www.mozilla.org, http://map24.com . Generate map in latter,
e.g. street broadway, city new york. Switch to first tab, move mouse. Map image
from second tab, currently in background pops up. Closing second tab causes
endlessly recurring "General exception" errors. Kill necessary.

2.Second tab: Generate a map in map24.com, e.g. street=broadway, city=new york
3.Switch to first tab
4.Move mouse

Which extensions and themes are installed?
I have try it with no problems.
Try it with different Map24 (USA, Netherlands, Belgium, France)in combination
with 2 other tabs open.
I had no problems.
This problem can be partially solved by installing the Java Embedding Plugin
