This looks a lot like bug 14090 (or more like some of its dups actually).

Is it just me, or is bordercolor etc. non-standard,
I can't find them anywhere in the HTML 4.01 standard.

Nav4.x supports bordercolor and so does Mozilla. bordercolordark and 
bordercolorlight must be IE inventions. Marking invalid.
