User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050319
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050319

When I go to Yahoo/Reuters News (the cited URL), I see in my status bar repeated
contacts to <us.a1.yimg.com>. That domain is in my Image Manager blacklist.
Further, my preferences are set to "Accept images come from the originating
server only". This is most noticeable when using a dial-up modem for connecting
to the Internet.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set images preference to "Accept images come from the originating server only".
2. With Image Manager, set <us.a1.yimg.com> as "site cannot load images".
3. Clear cache.
4. With a dial-up connection (not broadband), go to the cited URL.

Actual Results:
Status bar shows repeated "connecting to us.a1.yimg.com".

Expected Results:
There should be no attempt to connect to us.a1.yimg.com.
Are you sure that the connects are for images? Perhaps CSS, JS or HTML files are
loaded from this domain. Try to create a http log to see what happens and attach
a zipped version to this bug report.

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a

(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.

If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
