http://220.221.217.59/print/news/nn06-2004/nn20040629f1.htm is where it started,
but all other pages since then have the same error.

When I attempt to right-click on the address bar, the following Alert Error Box
appears:

[Exception..."Component returned failure code: 0x8000ffff (NS_ERROR_UNEXPECTED)
[ns]PrefBranch.getBoolPref]" nsresult: "0x8000ffff (NS_ERROR_UNEXPECTED)"
location: "JS
frame :: chrome://tajpu/content/tajpu.js :: anonymous :: line 213" data:no]

Clicking "OK" only brings up the error window again. Clicking on OK 20-30 times
makes the window disappear.

Strangely enough, the address bar in either a new tab or a new window doesn't
have the problem at first, then develops it.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Right Click on address bar. (That's it, as far as I know).

Actual Results:
See Details.

Expected Results:
Highlighted the address bar and opened a right-click menu.

Using Qute theme

Restarting Firefox/sytem restart/cold reboot do not solve problem. Error
message still persists.

No prior mention of error on Bugzilla, no references found anywhere on Google.
Error Solved, traced to faulty extension abcTajpu 0.1. Extension uninstalled,
Firefox works fine now.

Please move this bug to bugzilla.mozdev.org and contact the author of abcTajpu
(Aaron Irvine) to pass along this bug to him. (I cannot seem to be able to
contact him.) Failing that, please remove abcTajpu from the list of Firefox
extensions.

Apologies for "bugging" you all. ;) Keep up the good work on Firefox.

Can you test version 0.3 of this extension to see if that crashes you, too?

I could not find a 0.3 for download. 0.2 so far hasn't manifested the error,
but I had 0.1 installed for two weeks before the error showed up. I will let
you know if it does.
Hi all,

Ok, I've reproduced this in 0.3, it seems to be caused by an alert() in a
catch(){}. This is now fixed in version 0.31, please consider 0.3 abandoned.
Please download and test at: http://lingvo.org/abctajpu_0.31.xpi , your help is
much appreciated.

Regarding versions 0.2 and 0.1, I haven't been able to reproduce the problem.
Can anyone shed any more light on the error message or line number? Anyway, I'd
want people to move from 0.1/0.2 and up to 0.3x, so if 0.3x is clean let's just
go with that.

thanks,
Aaron Irvine
