User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050317 Firefox/1.0.2 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050317 Firefox/1.0.2 I've got a new mail account, on a server that hosts multiple domains. The accounts are of the form username@domainname. When trying to get new mail, I'm getting messages from the server for a wrong password (Sending of password did not succeed) and then for a wrong username (Sending of username did not succeed). When checking the saved passwords, Thunderbird seems to only "remember" the username part and completely ignores and discards the @domainname. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:

Is there an easy way to get the connection transcript from the release build, or should I get a nightly and try?

Well, it was not the @ part... At least not the real reason for the problem... Thunderbird does not save the part after @ when in the same account the username is changed from one of the form "username" to one of the form "username@domainname". Anyways, installed a sniffer and attaching a transcript of the POP3 conversation between my Thunderbird & the server. There has been some time since the last time I've read the specification, so there are some things I'm missing...

Domain name and password have been changed, for obvious reasons.

Since it's IPSwitch here, this seems to be a duplicate of Bug 284799 ...
