User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050317 Firefox/1.0.2 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050317 Firefox/1.0.2 Using the lates download of Thunderbird 1.0.2, When I am replying to an email sent to me: If I use the ! or upper case W or Z I am not shifted to the next character position, I am shifted to the FAR RIGHT end of the window. This problem only appeared since downloading and installing the new version yesterday. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Reply to an email (even when I select use text only) 2.Type anything then type ! or W or Z (shift 1, shift w or shift z) 3.It immediately puts me at the far right of window though it does print the character in the right place. Actual Results: As stated, it prints the character, ! or W or Z, but doesn't move to the next character position, it puts me at the far right side of the input text window. A single left arrow character will then put me BEFORE the input ! or W or Z. Expected Results: When I typed ! or W or Z it should have moved me to the next following character position. This is a terrible situation! I will have to re-install the old version if the bug isn't fixed.

unable to reproduce, tried TB1.0 and TB1.0.2 on Win2k/WinXP
I re-installed the new version of Thunderbird 1.0.2 and the problem went away. I have no idea what caused it but now I can not reproduce it. Thanks Tony
