Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050324 Firefox/1.0 (Ubuntu package 1.0.2) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050324 Firefox/1.0 (Ubuntu package 1.0.2) When I open multiple tabs and one of the sites has for example a flash banner, the banner is visible on the same position when I select an other tab, very annoying. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.I open firefox or mozilla and go to a flash-less website (for example bloglines) 2.I open a new tab and open a site with flash-banners (for example toms hardware) 3.I scroll until I see a flash animation and choose the first tab Actual Results: The flash-banner is visible, sometimes blinking, sometimes just steady Expected Results: The flash-banner is content from the first site and doesn't need to be showed on an other website I installed the latest firefox and mozilla versions using ubuntu update manager. I'd like to mention my flashplayer version but I don't know where to find it.

Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050915 Firefox/1.0.7 I would like to add another "feature" to this bug. The ACLU-Mass (http://www.aclu-mass.org/mbta/bag_searches.asp) web page contains a flash-based menu bar that persists on all the tabs and also scrolls with the page. It also prevented interaction with other pages - I went here to file a bug but was unable to type into any box until I closed the ACLU tab. This was confirmed on Mac OS X 10.3 running both Firefox 1.0.6 and 1.0.7. Please change the Hardware & OS selections to include the Macintosh.

See bug 286493, comment 7, does it help?

Hmmm... I don't think this applies to me. I have experienced this bug while running on MacOS X 10.3.
