I cannot EVER access my gmail.google.com email. There is no problem with doing this in Mozilla. No idea what the problem actually is . . . Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Enter www.gmail.google in the address bar Mozilla works; FireFox doesn't 2. 3. Actual Results: FireFox creates a window which prints "Loading . . ." but it never finishes Expected Results: Present the GMail info . . .

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050330 Firefox/1.0+ WFM
gmail prints the loading in the upper right hand corner, but never loads, presents a red gmail envelope in front of gmail.google.com and one on the tab instead of a green one.
I see this same problem in Linux. Under Slackware 11, Firefox 1.5.0.8 finished loading gmail, Firefox 1.5.0.9, 2, and 2.0.0.1 do not finish loading gmail. Cookies and Javascript are enabled, the only plugin is Flash 9.0 (the release, not the beta), and 3 extensions are installed: Talkback, DOM Inspector, and Adblock (v5 d3 * nightly 43). Seamonkey 1.0.5 also has Flash 9.0, but not Adblock, and works fine on gmail. I also tried Zenwalk Linux 4.2 (based on Slackware), which comes with Firefox 2.0.0.1, and that works. But under Zenwalk, it was the default setup, without Flash or Adblock. Since Seamonkey with Flash worked, maybe this is a problem with Adblock? But then, why did Firefox 1.5.0.8 with Adblock work?

I'm having this issue on my Mac- OS X. I think it started when I upgraded to Firefox 2.0.0.2 on 2/27. Have stripped all addons from my macbook with no success. Weird thing is I also cannot access gmail or google website from Safari. All other websites that I tried loaded properly.

This works for me using Firefox 2.0.0.3 on Mac OS X 10.4.9, Windows XP SP2, and Ubuntu 6.10. If you're still seeing this issue, please try with a new profile. If that doesn't work, please file a new bug with detailed steps to reproduce and information about your profile. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_Manager

You can ignore my comments made on 3/6. Was an issue with my wifi router (ASUS)- their firmware was blocking some websites from loading. Once that was resolved I had no issues with Firefox.
