When rendering images, occasionally they show up really strangely. Scrolling the
images off the screen and back on will restore them. However, scrolling them off
and back on will re-corrupt them (sometimes.)

Steps to Reproduce:
Sometimes, pictures look like this: http://infohost.nmt.edu/~pi/funky/funky.jpg

Actual Results:  
scrolling them off will make them look like this:
http://infohost.nmt.edu/~pi/funky/nofunky.jpg

Expected Results:  
It should have looked like http://infohost.nmt.edu/~pi/funky/nofunky.jpg without
scrolling them off.
