Will not highlight mouse selected text for copying to clipboard

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Hold down left mouse button.
2.Drag to highlight text on web page.
3.Let go of mouse button to CTRL C the selected text.
Actual Results:  
Text highlight disappears


Expected Results:  
Stayed a blue highlight before copying to clipboard

Are you sure this isn't a problem with (1) any extensions you have installed (2)
your mouse/mouse drivers
