I believe bonsai used to do that... anyway, it would be nice if it preserved the
formatting of checkin comments, ie convert linebreaks into <br> for display.
um, there are a whole bunch of different entry points to bonsai, most of them display checkin comments, unfortunately i can't find the one that you found was broken when you filed this bug. if you find it, please reopen and include a url. very sorry.

i tested cvsblame.cgi, cvslog.cgi, cvsquery.cgi and showcheckins.cgi
