When you use your 1.7 profile on 1.8, the extensions are broken. However,
installing the same extensions on 1.8 causes no problems.
I have Adblock and Single Window installed. Both break.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download Mozilla Application Suite 1.7.6, and install it.
2. Install the Adblock and Single Window extensions.
3. Download the latest trunk build of Mozilla.
4. Use the same profile.
Actual Results:
The extensions were broken i.e. no Adblock link on status, no Adblock and Single
Window menu items in Tools menu.
Expected Results:
Working extensions.

The Suite does not support the new Extension Manager which puts the extensions
in the profile. Added chrome must be installed to the global install directory
in the suite, so when you install into a new directory the extensions aren't copied.
