For several weeks, the "Critical Update(s)Available" has been visible on my
browser. When I click it, I'm told that Firefox 1.0.2 software update is
available, and should be installed immediately. However, when I click on
"Install Now", I get the message "Now downloading and installing updates", and
the bar that I expect to turn green, but nothing ever seems to happen,
regardless of how long I leave it up. The internet IS connected, BTW.

Reproducible: Always
Is software installation enabled in your preferences ?
