Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040910 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050317 Firefox/1.0.2 If i open multiple tabbled/single tabbled firefox windows, then sometimes firefox becomes unresponsive. Clicking on any html link doesn't work. Also if i enter any address in address bar and press enter, doesn't do anything. Even firefox website loading status circle doesn't move. If I kill all firefox windows and try to start it fresh, It says "default" profile is currently being used. Only way out to re-use my existing profile is reboot the machine. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open different kind of sites in around 5 tabbed windows of single firefox window 2. Open few single tabbed firefox windows with various different websites. 3. Actual Results: firefox won't do anything on clicking any link or changing address in address bar. This happens across all firefox instances. Expected Results: firefox should gracefully take to new hyperlink. I am using Windows-XP.

I guess that's the limitation of the computer hardware. P.S. You don't need to reboot your Windows. Just open the task manager, find "firefox.exe" and kill it. Closing windows may not really close the busy firefox.exe.
Summary: firefox becomes unresponsive, if many-many tabbed windows are open. → firefox becomes unresponsive, if many-many tabbed windows are open.
