User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de-DE; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050321 Firefox/1.0.2 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de-DE; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050321 Firefox/1.0.2 I barely need the zip Files to update the installation of Firefox in my 50 Computer Network! The Idea to drop the zip Release is the badest idea ever. There are a lot of admins out there, who have the same problem. The zip version was very easy to deploy. The installer is definetly no solution for our problem! The installer is good for one or two individual installation. Not for unatteded installation in an huge network. Please don´t just add setup switches for unattended installation. This often sucks. Just put the Actual Release ZIP Files on you FTP Server, or hide it a little bit on your Website. Maybe drop the "Quality Agent ..." from the zipped version. We, who are using the zip version, normally know what we are doing! THE SADEST IDEA EVER! THIS REALLY REALLY SUCKS! my 2 cents, Andreas Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: installation process needs a lot of clicks. Not usable to deploy software on a lot of computers. Actual Results: tried to install Expected Results: easy bring back the zip release Why the hell, you guys told us this not before? I had never started to install Firefox and Thunderbird in my LAN.
