RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 288451

People

(Reporter: zsinj, Assigned: bugzilla)

Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050331 Firefox/1.0+
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050331 Firefox/1.0+

I installed 20050331 to see if a bug was still occuring (one of many I keep
track of at Bugzilla). I downloaded like usual from developer.mozilla.org and it
installed normally. When I went to start Firefox the Quality Feedback Agent
popped up instantly and not a half second afterward, Windows popped up with
Error Reporting to send a report because Firefox caused an error. Now that
Talkback has been configured (I was still able to go through the three steps
plus email with the Windows dialog still there) the Quality Feedback Agent
doesn't prompt me at startup to configure it.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
1. I have started Firefox like normal, but the Quality Feedback Agent does not
pop up after having been configured. I did not try to reinstall Firefox after
recieving the error and submitting the Talkback crash report.
Actual Results:
Firefox crashed and a Talkback report was generated.

Expected Results:
The Quality Feedback Agent (what I think caused the crash) should have opened
without causing Firefox to crash.

The Talkback ID is TB4750184W.
