I've seen this under v1.0 & 1.0.2 on Win2K, WinXP and Linux.

All e-mail I get from a particular company shows up with the date as 12/31/1969.
 However, the header actually HAS a date line of (or similar):

DATE: FRI,01APR2005 11:49:25 -0500

Is this an invalid (non-RFC conforming) date format?  Outlook Express does
display the correct date.

This happens in the message window, preview pane and in the message list date
column.
