User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322) Build Identifier: I have upgraded to Firefox 1.0.2 and when starting it I am unable to connect to any website (message: " ‘whatever’... could not be found. Please check the name and try again"). I have reinstalled it, restarted the computer, etc., to no avail. (now I am usisng IE). What do I do ?? Thanks. AZ Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Upgraded to Fx 1.0.2 custom 2.Unable to connect to any website. 3. Hope this report will help (I am not a programmer) and allow me to use again Fx.

Have you got a firewall that you need to tell to let the new firefox v1.02 out onto the internet?

"What do I do ??" Sorry but this is not the right place to ask support questions. You can use the mozillazine.org Forums for that. This looks like a firewall problem -> invalid

Resolution: --- → INVALID
It was not a bug... but a firewall problem, as Matti and Steve have pointed out. The new Norton firewall blocked the updated Firefox mechanically and was fixed. Thanks (sorry to have used the unappropriate place to report/ask). AZ
