I have upgraded to Firefox 1.0.2 and when starting it I am unable to connect to 
any website (message: "  ‘whatever’... could not be found. Please check the 
name and try again"). I have reinstalled it, restarted the computer, etc., to 
no avail. (now I am usisng IE). What do I do ?? Thanks.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Upgraded to Fx 1.0.2 custom
2.Unable to connect to any website.
3.




Hope this report will help (I am not a programmer) and allow me to use again Fx.
Have you got a firewall that you need to tell to let the new firefox v1.02 out
onto the internet?

This looks like a firewall problem

It was not a bug... but a firewall problem, as Matti and Steve have pointed out. 
The new Norton firewall blocked the updated Firefox mechanically and was fixed.
