Using Mozilla Firefox 1.0.2, after opening a new window, closing the first
window causes firefox to freeze.  All icons associated with bookmarks in my
toolbar disappear.  Mozilla must be restarted and on few occasions the Windows
Task Manager must be opened and mozilla.exe must be terminated.  

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open Firefox
2.Open a new Window
3.Close 1st Window

Actual Results:  
Freeze, icons for bookmarks in toolbar disappear.

Expected Results:  
Closed first window with no other actions.

Confirmed. Suggest blocking 1.9a1

Additional details performed in Deer Park a2

Open Deer Park a2.
Go to any web site.

Open a new window.
Go to any web site.

Right click on the first window instance on the toolbar.
Select to close the first window.

The second window is now nearly frozen.
"X"ing out to close works.  
Menu items no longer work.
Most extension functions no longer work.
Some (such as font size change do work)
Hitting about a dozen menu or extension items fills some sort of buffer.
Any attempt at links or menu items thereafter results in a "boink" and no action.
"X"ing out no longer works.
The only means to close Deer Park is then to ctrl-alt-del and end the process.

Is this bug still reproducable? Try upgrading to a newer version of Firefox, preferably a nightly testing build available at http://www.mozilla.org/developer and report back with your results. Thank you.

I can't reproduce using Firefox 2.0.0.3 on Windows XP SP2. If you're still able to reproduce using Firefox 2.0.0.3 or later with a new profile, please reopen this bug.
