Above the EVENTS category within the page, the date and an alphabet assigned
code for that date should be displayed.

I extracted three relevant lines from the Html code for this page and the second
<P> might have too many <SPAN> for window display. Notice at end of this line of
code is the text that should have been viewable on the screen.

<P><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN>The access code should be on the
registration form; however, if not, the code is ccb4d660edd94c</P>
<P><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN><SPAN>MONDAY,
APRIL 4, 2005&nbsp; “B” DAY</P>
<P style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><U>EVENTS</U></P>

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to URL provided above (Half Hollow Hills School District; Our Schools menu
option; High School West; School News section)
2. Note directly above EVENTS is only a sentence specifing a alphanumeric code
for a registration form. There should have been another paragraph providing
today's date and the school's assigned code for class schedules.

Actual Results:

Date and schools's assigned code was "missing" from screen. Only saw a blank
line and then the EVENTS category started.

Note: this occurred Friday, April 1 2005 (NO I Am not doing an April fools trick!)
I doubt the same text will apear each day, but the DATE and school's assigned
code is suppose to appear daily BEFORE the EVENTS section of text.

Expected Results:
There should have been a paragraph prior to EVENTS section. It should have
displayed "today's" date and the school's assigned code for class schedules.

I believe that that multitude of <SPAN> tags is what may be the cause of your
problem. Perhaps their removal would solve the problem.

not closing tags is a bad idea

highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.
